How do I read the reviews funnel?

Open Reviews. The Funnel shows how many requests were sent, likely opened, opened the form, submitted, and went to Google.

The steps are Sent → Email likely opened → Form opened → Submitted → Redirected to Google.

Email likely opened counts people who probably read the mail. Scanner and Apple Mail prefetch opens are left out.

A low star rating that stays inside Gatavo still counts as Submitted. Redirected to Google only counts when the stars meet your rule (see How do happy clients go to Google?).

Auto-send of review requests needs Pro. You can still send one by hand on Starter (see How do I ask for one review by hand?).
